          The Gurugal Oya Dam situated on the border of the Kandy and NuwaraEliya Districts. Can be accessed through,

1. KANDY-RIKILAGASKADA-PALLEBOWALA-      GURUGAL OYA DAM

2. KANDY-GALAHA JUNCTION-GALAHA-DELTOTA-GABADAGAMA-GURUGAL OYA DAM

          If you are using Google Maps, It will take you to the dam.

               Gurugal Oya located at Gabadagama village and 7Km away from Deltota Town.This dam built the blocking of GURUGAL OYA which begin from the Loolkandura forests. There can be seen the old ruins of Gurugal Oya Anicut build in 1947.

• It has a series of natural infinity pools.

What To Do In Gurugal Oya Dam (Natural Pool )

                 You could easily spend all day chilling in the differnt pools exploring and sunbathing.

Chill In The Water At Dam

         After spending your time exploring,  cliff Jumping and swimming in the pools. It would be rude to leave without a little bit of sunbathing.   Bring a Book , lay on the Rocks and enjoy some chill time before heading back off.

         Preferably you want to be at dam when off rainy season. Primarily due to the slippy nature of the rocks on your way.
